Anotace:
The text focuses on the presence of rhetoric in contemporary Polish
schools, especially at the high school level. It shows the presence of the
issue in the core curricula, and defines the way in which, from the didactic
point of view, rhetoric can function in school theoretical reflection and practice.
The author of the text shows two examples of rhetorical speeches taken
from well-known film productions (and the third, authentic one), indicates
the spaces of their lesson analysis, as well as exercises motivated by this material.
Based on these activities, it proposes the organization of independent
student presentations, which are to arise from the described analytical activities,
and be an example of the implementation of rhetorical knowledge in
students’ communication practice.
