specific electric conductivity of cast elements from
non-ferrous alloys is primarily dependent on purity and
chemical composition of the used alloys, as well as on
the grain size and its morphology. At the same time all
the given properties also affect the mechanical values.
samples of two copper alloys and one silumin were
cast for the experiment. All three mentioned alloys are
commonly cast in non-ferrous metal foundries. Aluminium
alloys are among the most used cast materials,
so the paper deals with silumins more thoroughly.
