Anotace:
In the contribution the abrasion resistance of brake discs of
spheroidal graphite cast iron (Gjs) is compared with Gjs
austempered to ausferritic microstructure (aDI). three types
of lamellar graphite cast iron with various types of the base
metal material, i.e. Gjl 1 with pearlitic, Gjl 2 with ferritic-
-pearlitic and Gjl austempered to the ausferritic matrix
(aGI) have been further used for mutual comparison. Brake
discs made of standard Gjs and of austempered Gjs (aDI)
and Gjl (aGI) were used for the wear resistance tests.
Wear resistance of wheels of Gjs and aDI was tested on a dynamometer for the rail transport. One braking wheel of
aGI and two of Gjl were tested on a dynamometer for automobile
brake discs.
