The article deals with morphological and syntactic phenomena of German business correspondence.
The surveyed phenomena are quantified and the reasons of their frequent or less frequent
occurrence in business correspondence and their purposes are examined. The results are
contrasted to usage patterns in Czech business correspondence. They can also be used create
online tests.
