Antropogenní ovlivnění historicko-kulturních dendrologických prvků lázeňského města Soči (Rusko)

Anotace: This article examines the topical issues of ornamental woody plants used in the recreational street area in Sochi Resort Town in the Western Caucasus of Russia. In recent years, this has become affected by diverse anthropogenic impacts caused by city development of this area as an international holiday centre. The quantitative and qualitative assessment of the 240 Liquidambar styraciflua L. selected tree species and 65 Cedrus deodara (Roxb.) G. Don. tree species is presented herein. In assessing the conditions which modify the size and growth of these trees, we analysed the current state of the studied plantations. This analysis also included the human factors which influence this recreational resort area.
