Management městské zeleně – systémové postupy a nástroje plánování

Anotace: The current trends in sustainable development and management of the urban environment have introduced sophisticated methods designed to record and evaluate urban greenery. These trends subsequently initiated systematic and conceptual planning for its further development. Knowledge of these methods is a basic prerequisite for successful development. This is essential in planning adaptations to ongoing climate change, in the systematic search for possible methods of harmonious development of specific settlements and consequent improvement in the life quality of its inhabitants. This article describes the broader context of urban greenery management. It presents the current trends in planning development and detailed possibilities of applying systematic methods for urban greenery care. The described procedures summarise many years of practical and theoretical experience from their application in Czech Republic landscape conditions. The procedures have been closely monitored in these conditions and have proven both effective and efficient.
