Anotace: Te article describes the background and the main principles of the migration forecast for the Czech Republic,

processed by the Czech Statistical Ofce in 2018. Te model is based on assumptions about the volume
of migration fows and the sex and age-specifc structure of migrants. Tree projection scenarios are presented.
