Anotace:
This paper focuses on identifying important elements and instruments of popularisation and proposes a methodological framework for assessing individual factors which affect the status of both environmental science’s popularisation and environmental awareness. The proposed relationship structure provides a holistic view of this issue, especially in the field of environmental science. Herein, we summarise the factors that have important effects on popularisation and awareness of environmental science. These factors consider both the obvious channels such as media, scientific events, museums, open days and conferences and unconventional instruments including the integration of environmental science with eco-tourism and public authorities and organisations. The instruments and elements are assembled in a structure which establishes all these inter-relationships, and the following two attributes are considered for each structural component. The first examines the population size affected by popularisation and the second establishes the precise effect of each component.
