Anotace:
submitted article focuses on milling moulds (patternless
process) into a gypsum and subsequently pouring
aluminium alloy by squeeze casting technology.
two methods of casting were used, direct and indirect
squeeze casting. For comparison, castings were also
produced by gravity casting. the contribution evaluates
casting microstructure, mechanical properties
and casting density. Pressure has reduced the amount
of porosity and thus density slightly increased, also
mechanical properties increased.
