Anotace:
To meet the required quality of castings it is
important to ensure the stability of the casting
process. Ensuring the die casting stability also
includes keeping the optimum temperatures,
e.g. the temperature of pressure moulds used
for die casting, casting temperature of the alloy
and the temperature of the filling chamber.
This study deals with the influence of temperature
changes on the formation of a defect of a
misrun type, which occurs on the edge of the
flow opening. Experiments were carried out
on the so called Stirnplatte 033 casting, which
is a part of hydraulic pumps in the car with
investigating mechanical properties and X-ray
analysis. From the analysis it can be concluded
that the infringement of optimum temperature
of the mould working surface results in an
increase of the misrun number.
