The phraseological research has been concentrated mostly on the comparison of idioms in
the general language. This article deals with the phraseological phenomena in German and
Czech business language. There were found numerous cases of total and partial equivalence.
Differences are apart from others in different use of foreign words and metaphoric expressions.
