Anotace:
The aim of the following contribution is to focus on those authors of Slovak origin, (authors from
the former Czechoslovakia), writing in German, who have emigrated to a German speaking
country in the second half of the twentieth century. Firstly, the terms exile (migrant) literature
and intercultural Germanistic are clarified, then our attention gets centred on the main goal
of the contribution, the options provided by particular texts considering the purpose of using
them while teaching German as a foreign language. The works of two authors, Irena Brežná
and Stanislav Struhar, were chosen to give particular examples of possible didactic adaptation.
