Poland’s armed forces in NATO

Anotace: The article discusses the changes in Poland’s Armed Forces resulting from Poland’s membership to NATO. The article attempts to assess how the membership in NATO influenced the transformation of the organization, personnel, education and training as well as technical modernization of Poland’s Armed Forces. The article addresses the situation prior to the NATO membership, the transformation that took place during the first decade in NATO and the changes that took place during the second decade of the membership. Special attention has been given to the post-2014 period.
