Anotace: The use of cleaner production methods is the most promising way to sustain qualitative development and ensure environmental protection. This paper outlines the elementary principles and possibilities of clean modern technology which will prevent waste and ensure limited adverse environmental impact. The most important elements are the selection of appropriate raw materials and technological processes, automatic control systems, continuous monitoring of all technology, and especially increased education of the environmental advantages gained by using cleaner production.
