The following text deals with the use of the BookWidgets application, which can be used
not only in foreign language teaching at primary or secondary school, but also for teaching
other school subjects, such as mathematics with regard to the use of research-oriented
teaching. The implementation of the application cannot be only use for the implementation
of online or distance learning, but also as a suitable tool for the implementation of teaching
based on the principles of blended learning. Using this tool allows you to provide immediate
feedback to students. The text presents individual categories of exercises with regard
to the development of language means and speaking skills. The text also includes an analysis
of the use of BookWidgets application at a selected secondary school, which was piloting,
when the schools have been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
