Anotace:
This research focuses on the impact of the renowned Sufi poet of the 13th century, Sheikh Faridaddin Attar, on Sufi literature in Azerbaijan, with a particular emphasis on the creative contributions of Seyid Yahya Bakuvi. The study analyzes the intricate interplay between Attar's works, such as "Mantik-at-Teyr," and the literary legacy of Bakuvi, including "Sherhe-meratibe-esrare-qulub" and other works. A literature review is conducted, encompassing discussions on the works of both poets, along with biographical analyses and examinations of cultural contexts. Additionally, research methods and materials are explored, including translations of texts, studies by various researchers, and manuscripts. The author highlights the topic's relevance, discusses the research goals, identifies commonalities between Attar and Bakuvi's works, and elucidates the significance of this influence in a contemporary context. As a universal spiritual practice, Sufism serves as a bridge between diverse cultures. Analyzing Attar's impact on Azerbaijani Sufi literature underscores universal values and the shared traditions of spirituality and poetry. The study offers a fresh perspective on Bakuvi's creativity and connection to the classic Sufi literature, contributing to expanding knowledge in Azerbaijani literature and Sufism.
