Anotace:
The paper deals with texts related to early modern literature from the personal collection of Alexandr Stich stored in the National Literature Memorial in Prague. The article briefly mentions small prints and photographs related to the mentioned issue. The author pays the main attention to Stich’s manuscripts, especially unpublished articles and notes. Undoubtedly, Stich’s efforts to synthesize the literary history of the Czech early modern period, which are represented in the fund only by a manuscript torso, are interesting. Stich’s editorial proposals from the late 1980s, partially realized only at the turn of the century in completely different political and cultural contexts, also deserve attention. In addition to linguistic and literary methods, sociological approaches are also typical of Stich’s last years. Stich remarkably foreshadowed the further development of research, after all, he himself influenced it by directing his students.
